CEO & Founder, Yaks and Yurts Travel LLC
With over two decades of experience, Tsogbayar Erdenekhuu is one of Mongolia’s leading experts in experiential travel, wilderness tourism, and fly fishing. Born and raised on the shores of Khuvsgul Lake, he built his career within his family’s Hovsgol Travel LLC — home to the renowned Toilogt and Doublelake Camps — rising from tour guide and tour manager to becoming a trusted fly fishing expert in the Mongolian market.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical Mathematics from the University of Alaska, USA, and has applied that expertise to directing export operations and leading development projects for Hovsgol Travel LLC.

A seasoned travel professional whose career is defined by a deep love of culture, wildlife, and exploration. Holding a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Greenwich, UK, and a Master of Laws from the National University of Mongolia, she began her career in law before her passion for travel led her in a new direction.
Having lived across the USA, UK, China, and Russia, she developed a rare multicultural fluency that she channeled into a successful travel career — progressing from tour guide and travel designer to General Manager of one of China’s leading travel companies.
With 8 years of industry experience, she brings global perspective, operational expertise, and genuine passion to her role as General Manager of Yaks and Yurts Travel LLC — committed to delivering authentic, unforgettable Mongolian experiences.
Ariuntuya Erdenekhuu
Chief Financial Officer, Yaks and Yurts Travel LLC
Holding a Bachelor of Communication Engineering from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Finance and Economics of Mongolia, she built a distinguished career at two of Mongolia’s most prominent institutions — a leading telecommunications company and a top-tier national bank — developing deep expertise in financial management and operations.
As CFO of Yaks and Yurts Travel LLC, she brings analytical precision and diverse professional experience to driving the company’s financial strategy and operational excellence.
